This video is an emotional one for me… after nearly 2 years without being able to watch an FC Porto match I had the opportunity to finally see them in person and it was for a HUGE game against Liverpool FC at Anfield in the Champions League in a game that featured a Thiago WONDER GOAL… Enjoy!

  1. Tbh big games are only when its at its best. These smaller games are always quiet lol. Where as ive been too so many games with immense atmosphere. Barcelona 4-0 i actually left with a migraine. Roma semis. And usually top 6 games are good.

  2. You have to remember who we are and who we’re playing against. When any other team comes to anfield, it’s a big game for them, no matter who they are. Turn the tables round, and when we play someone in the league, there are only About 5 or 6 games which are exciting for us. Not being arrogant but that’s a fact. When you have won as much as we have, and when you have had the European nights that we have, then you will understand why we don’t always have the same level of atmosphere as some clubs do, when they are playing a typical Saturday afternoon league game against mid table opponents. Maybe it’s because we have been spoilt or maybe it’s because we’re still hungover from the European night which was a huge game, or maybe even it’s because there’s nothing riding on the match, but if you want to see what the atmosphere is like then you have to come to a big game or a European game. Our illustrious history means that we don’t get excited about playing Leicester or Brentford or Crystal Palace….. it’s possibly arrogance or whatever, but that comes with the levels of success that we have had. If you don’t believe it then have a look at what fergie says, or wenger, or pep or messi or even Thierry Henry who said that if there was one club he could have played for, then it would be Liverpool….. I’ve seen players like del piero and costacurta fall apart from the atmosphere….. it’s not a myth, but you have to understand when and why and what the occasion is

  3. We'd already qualified, it was a nothing game, should have been there when we played Chelsea when Luis Garcia scored, THAT, was an atmosphere, it sent shivers up my spine 🙂

  4. The anti Liverpool bias on this channel is shocking. I've been a season ticket holder for 10 years now and the real fans and atmosphere is phenomenal. Typical Leeds fan whinging about a club that is doing well
