1. $250 to go from England to Portugal, with everything included (ticket, hotel, travel)… Just insane. In America, if I wanted to go from where I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and wanted to drive to Chicago, Illinois, which is only 4 hours away, to see a baseball game which is the CHEAPEST sport here, it is $500+ minimum. Gas is near $100 for that trip, Hotel is $300+ a night, and tickets to the game are about $50+ each for decent seats at Wrigley Field. I cannot believe the amazing access Europe has to everything. Hell, around the time this was filled my friends and I went to the B1G Championship Game in Indianapolis which is 2 hours away and the tickets were $100 on their own and we got 3 of them. Tickets ALONE cost more than this trip did for you guys.
