Not him alone of course but he scored 2 goals in the 1st leg to clinch the win for them and then set up the equalizer in the second leg whi h ultimately took them through

    "Fun" fact: Sir Bobby Robson was sacked by Sporting president, Sousa Cintra (crazy bastard), in December with the team in 1ST PLACE because we had been knocked out early in the UEFA Cup. Actually, he was sacked mid-flight while we were coming back from Austria. He had gotten 3rd place the season before with a shit squad, had no say in signings and he even described Cintra as a loose cannon. Porto was 3rd when he was fired and they finished above us in that season.

    Another "fun" fact: José Mourinho was supposed to sign with Sporting back in 2001, after a brief stint with Benfica. The president was about to announce it in a press conference but some fans entered the room and made a fuss ("we don't want him. he beat us 3-0 while Benfica manager and celebrated") and the president actually backed down, cancelling the signing. Porto went on to win 6 trophies, including 2 european titles with Mourinho.

    Basically, the only thing this proves is: the reason my club doesn't have more trophies is because were full of half-witted morons. Props to Porto for taking advantage of that, I guess. Great video!

28. I´m 1 week late but I loved it, despite being a benfica fan I loved this rebuild, specially when you use portuguese teams haha. Thanks for showing portuguese clubs!!!!
