The thumbnail is great. It's like Beckham's saying "here, that number 7 shirt…..that will be mine in a few years"
ManUtd scored 10 champions league goals that campaign in as many games, only conceded 5, got 5 clean sheets but still lost more games than they won, work that one out.
The 2 finalists did the double over ManUtd all 1-0 defeats could've gone either way especially Juventus at home & both games vs Dortmund how they didn't score vs Dortmund multiple shots off the line, shots off the post etc…
LEGENDARY
Brian moore on commentary was absolute gold. RIP.
The good old days when the Champions league ment you had to win ya league to Compete in the Champions league unlike today great team United had there
Huge Giggs fan. I remember watching this match and it seemed Giggsy was playing on another level to even his team mates!
This Porto team was feared amongst many. This was the game that made Man Utd believe that could win the CL. Porto got their revenge in 2004 though.
Oh what a glorious night this was. That Porto team was FEARED, and a lot of people were pretty nervous about what was going to happen in this tie. Phenomenal win.
This was really the game that made United believe that they could mix it with the big hitters in the Champions League. In some ways the road to Barcelona '99 began here.
I can’t help but laugh every time I see Cantona’s pass down the touch line leading up to Giggs’ goal. It was actually the reason I looked up this video.
Pure genius. Hasn’t been another like him before or since.
cantona treaning class of 92.
Man U players got very close in this game…
god i miss this team
I remember this match as much for the commentary as I do United's epic performance. Many people thought we'd got the hardest QF draw against a Porto side that was tearing up the competition. Bryan Moore's "IT'S ANOTHER ONNNEEEE" will live with me forever.
I remember I was at this match – me Dad told me it was the best football he had ever seen
